BORN Gold is an unfiltered (muroka) Junmai Daiginjo brewed from 100% Yamada Nishiki rice sourced from Hyogo’s Special A district, polished to 50%, and cold-matured at −10°C for one year. The sake is bottled unfiltered before a single pasteurisation — a process that gives it its distinctive pale golden colour, the result of retaining the natural pigments that carbon filtration would otherwise remove. Since its launch in 2006, BORN Gold has accumulated over 50 international competition awards across 13 consecutive years.

Culinary affinity: The golden, unfiltered character gives this sake a broad affinity — from chilled alongside sashimi and sushi to gently warmed alongside grilled fish, meat, and umami-rich preparations.
