TOROTORO no UMESHU is a rich Japanese unfiltered plum liqueur from Nara Kasugayama Shuzo (formerly Yagi Shuzo), an established brewery in Nara, Japan. Made from Nara’s Nishiyoshino green plums and a shochu-based spirit base, this style intentionally keeps the texture full and expressive by blending ripe plum pulp into the finished umeshu. At about 10% ABV, it delivers a dense, peachy plum body with bright fruit richness and a natural, gentle finish that works well as a dessert wine-style aperitif or cocktail base.

Culinary affinity: Its creamy texture and balanced sweet-acid profile pair well with Thai desserts, fried or roasted seafood, mildly seasoned poultry, and rich dairy-forward sweets. It is also suitable for low-dilution on-the-rocks service and creamy or lightly citrus cocktails where body is important.
