SEKITOBA Macha is a 25% honkaku imo shochu from Hamada Shuzo's Sekitoba line, made with Kagoshima sweet potato, rice koji, Kagoshima matcha, and Kagoshima green tea. The matcha and green tea are introduced before distillation as fermentation materials rather than added after distillation, allowing the product to remain in the honkaku shochu category while expressing a green-tea aroma, light sweet-potato body, matcha bitterness, and sencha-like freshness without relying on liqueur-style sweetening.

Culinary affinity: The green-tea aroma, dry structure, and gentle bitterness complement grilled seafood, white fish, tofu, vegetable dishes, matcha-led desserts, Thai herbs, and dishes where bitterness, umami, and freshness need to remain balanced.
