SABUROMARU SAB. NIGHT BLACK is a blended whisky from Wakatsuru’s Saburomaru line at WAKATSURU SAKAZUKURI/ Saburomaru Distillery in Takaoka (Toyama). It blends multi-region peated malts (Islay, Highland, and Toyama) with grain whisky, then is distilled using the ZEMON alloy still concept and bottled as a bold, non-chill-filtered and non-coloured style. At 46% ABV and 700 ml, it is designed to support a smooth smoke-forward profile with rounded finish, especially suited to highball as well as neat or on the rocks.

Culinary affinity: Its firm but polished profile works well with grilled seafood, smoked meats, roasted chicken, mushrooms, caramelized nuts, and Asian dishes with spice or char. It also pairs well with aged cheeses and coffee- or cocoa-style desserts.
