Layered orchard fruit, Yamada Nishiki umami and a long, poised finish.

A composed expression of JUYONDAI
Gold is made with Yamada Nishiki from Yokawa’s Special-A district in Hyogo. One pasteurisation and bottle maturation at −8°C retain freshness while giving the wine a closely woven, composed shape.
How it tastes

Fuji apple, La France pear, Shine Muscat and honeydew are joined by white flower and yuzu-peel notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and fine, with ripe fruit, rice umami and balanced acidity leading to a long, dry-leaning finish.
The ripe fruit and rice umami deepen gradually, while the dry-leaning finish stays long and precise.
Murayama, Yamagata — more than four centuries of craft
Founded in Murayama, Yamagata in 1615, Takagi Sake Brewery brings more than four centuries of craft and sensibility to every expression of JUYONDAI.
Here, three sake expressions and Ranbiki-Shu, a separately classified rice spirit, are presented as one JUYONDAI collection. Together, these four bottles reveal a poised, layered world made to accompany the rhythms of the table.
At the table
- Sushi and fresh seafood
- Scallops or white fish
