JUYONDAI Red
Yamada Nishiki and Aiyama, ripe fruit and a silk-smooth line.

A clear route into the JUYONDAI style
Red is made with Yamada Nishiki and Aiyama from Yokawa’s Special-A district in Hyogo. It presents the fruit-rich, umami-led style associated with JUYONDAI in an open, balanced expression.
How it tastes

Yubari melon, ripe La France pear, red apple, young banana and orange blossom lead into a silk-smooth mouthfeel. Juicy acidity balances the rice umami, while a gentle mandarin-peel bitterness gives the finish a dry definition.
The juicy acidity stays bright against the rice umami, while the mandarin-peel bitterness sharpens the dry finish.
Murayama, Yamagata — more than four centuries of craft
Founded in Murayama, Yamagata in 1615, Takagi Sake Brewery brings more than four centuries of craft and sensibility to every expression of JUYONDAI.
Here, three sake expressions and Ranbiki-Shu, a separately classified rice spirit, are presented as one JUYONDAI collection. Together, these four bottles reveal a poised, layered world made to accompany the rhythms of the table.
