NAKAMURA

NAKAMURA is a premium 25% sweet-potato shochu from Nakamura Shuzojo in Kirishima, Kagoshima, a distillery founded in 1888 that keeps production tightly controlled. Made in a rare stone koji room with wooden lids, it follows a lid-koji method and heavy hand involvement from koji building through to bottling, with atmospheric distillation and traditional Japanese ware aging. The spirit is typically made with Kagoshima sweet potato, Hinohikari rice for koji, and Kirishima groundwater. It is known among professionals for a silk-like, oily texture and a warm honeyed depth with restrained yet elegant aroma.

Culinary affinity: The soft body, light earthiness, and polished mouthfeel pair well with grilled fish, roasted duck or chicken, seafood-based Thai dishes, herb-led curries, and desserts with subtle caramel notes. Its texture also works in simple warm-water or fizzy-mixer preparations.

NAKAMURA คือโชจูมันเทศระดับพรีเมียม 25% จากกลางเมืองคิริชิมะ จังหวัดเกิร์ชิมา โรงหมักเกิดเมื่อปี 1888 และยังคงควบคุมการผลิตแบบเข้มงวดด้วยโรงโคจิห้องหินหายาก การหมักแบบ蓋麹และการทำงานด้วยมือทั้งสายการผลิต ถึงขั้นการวางแผงและการปิดฉลาก โดยใช้การกลั่นแบบความดันปกติร่วมกับการพักสุกในภาชนะดินแบบญี่ปุ่น กลิ่นลักษณะเด่นคือเนื้อสัมผัสนุ่มละเอียดแบบผ้ากำมะหยี่และความหวานนุ่มแบบน้ำผึ้ง

ความเข้ากันของอาหาร: เนื้อสัมผัสนุ่ม กลิ่นเอิร์ธอ่อน และ finish เรียบเนียนจับคู่ได้ดีกับปลาและอาหารทะเลย่าง เป็ดหรือนกที่ย่างแล้ว อาหารแกงไทยที่มีสมุนไพร และของหวานที่หวานปานกลาง โดยเฉพาะเมื่อรสชาติต้องการให้ค่อยๆ กลมกล่อมขึ้น
