Fresh sugarcane juice, distilled under vacuum and rested in stainless steel for a clean, floral and gently creamy white rum.
Fresh cane aroma preserved by low-temperature vacuum distillation.
UT-3 sugarcane is hand-harvested and pressed once without dilution. Wine-yeast fermentation is followed by low-temperature vacuum batch distillation, then stainless-steel resting rather than oak ageing.
Distil cool, then give the spirit time without oak.
Press and ferment
First-press cane juice ferments with wine yeast for approximately 72–96 hours.
Vacuum distil
A 1,500-litre stainless batch still works at reduced pressure to retain delicate aroma.
Rest and reduce
The spirit rests in stainless steel, then is slowly reduced to 42% with local groundwater managed by a neighbouring temple.
Floral cane, soft sweetness and a clean, creamy line.

A grape-like fruity aroma leads into fresh cane, gentle sweetness and a smooth, lightly creamy palate. The finish rises cleanly through the nose with floral lift.
A white rum for both direct tasting and clean cocktails.
Shows the cane's freshness and the texture created by stainless resting.
Lime sharpens the floral cane character without covering it with sugar.
Its clean distillate gives mint and lime a precise base.
Floral aroma and a smooth, light body, in four directions
The food affinities for LAODI White Rhum are not combinations officially presented by the producer, but a reading drawn from the characteristics recorded on this page. Built around the grape-like floral aroma and the light, softly creamy texture preserved by low-temperature vacuum distillation and stainless-steel resting, they are organised into four directions.
Food-pairing theory holds that a light-bodied spirit tends to harmonise with dishes of matching weight. These suggestions are a hypothesis built on that structural cue, and are not an official recommendation from the producer
Fresh sugarcane, distilled in the landlocked heart of Laos.
LAODI was founded in 2006 by Japanese founder Ikuzo Inoue with Lao partner Sihatta Rasphone. At Naxone in Vientiane Capital, the team grows sugarcane, presses it after harvest and distils the fresh juice on site.
