KODAKARA YUZU is a Japanese citrus liqueur from Tatebishi Brewery (Shinano Kawasakura Brewery, also known as Tatenokawa Shuzo fruit liqueur line), made with Kochi yuzu and a sake-influenced base profile from a historic sake brewery legacy. With its low alcohol design (about 8–10%), 720ml format, and rich body, it offers a bright, silky, citrus-forward profile with a textured sweetness that reads as elegant and easy to pair. It works well as a room-temperature or chilled aperitif, and is especially effective as a cocktail modifier when a full-sugar, full-proof spirit is not desired.
Culinary affinity: The vivid citrus body and soft finish pair particularly well with Japanese and Thai foods with rich sauce or fat content, including grilled seafood, Thai curries, coconut-forward dishes, miso-based preparations, and light dessert courses. It is also effective with soda, in warm yuzu-style toddies, and for post-meal pairing where a cleaner reset is needed.
