A reproducible editorial process

A licence name alone is not publishable evidence

  1. Join the national association's Japanese and English entries through stable detail pages.
  2. Extract Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Kuma, Iki and Okinawa official directories, then reconcile names, addresses and official URLs.
  3. Add regional-only records while excluding operators whose listing contains sake evidence only.
  4. Add an NTA single-distilled licence candidate only when an official site names a current product and links it to the producer or site.
  5. Fix prefectures north to south and share the same record IDs and order across all languages.

Evidence statuses

National + regional appears in both layers. National association and regional association identify a single official-directory layer. Official product supplement was added through producer-managed current product evidence.

Checked 2026-07-27. Current edition: 455 records. We audited 8 blank-label records; 2 remain explicitly marked as not named by their official source. 14 commercial licence candidates without named-product evidence remain in the audit CSV and outside the public directory.
