Baird Rising Sun Pale Ale is a hop-forward pale ale from Baird Brewing Company in Shuzenji, Shizuoka. Bottled at 5.5% ABV in a 330 ml format, it uses whole-flower hops and is dry-hopped for a vivid citrus-and-pine aroma. The palate is brisk and refreshing, with layered hop flavour, moderate bitterness and a carefully balanced finish.
Culinary affinity: Its citrusy lift and clean bitterness pair with sashimi, grilled fish, tempura, roast chicken, burgers, citrus-dressed salads and Thai seafood with lemongrass or makrut lime. It is versatile with both lightly fried and simply grilled dishes.
