AOC Pic Saint-Loup, Languedoc
HÉRITAGE DU PIC SAINT LOUPTour de Pierres 2023
In the shadow of Pic Saint-Loup's limestone peak, three brothers named this wine for a journey through the stones beneath their vines — a mosaic of clay, limestone and dolomite shaped by generations of family farming and the cool mountain air that sweeps down from the Cévennes.

About the Wine
Héritage du Pic Saint Loup is a single family domaine run by three brothers — Jean-Marc, Pierre and Xavier Ravaille — who began bottling independently in 1992, continuing generations of family farming on the same Hérault land.
The vineyards lie within AOC Pic Saint-Loup, a Languedoc appellation that was recognized as its own cru appellation for red and rosé wines in 2016.

At the table
Tour de Pierres pairs naturally across three culinary traditions, each drawing out a different facet of its Mediterranean character.
As an entry-level, Syrah-led red from a Mediterranean appellation, it carries herbal, spice-toned aromatics and a fresh, structured acidity that responds well to grilled, glazed and herb-forward dishes across Japanese, Thai and Western tables.
Japanese
- Yakitori with tare glaze
- Buta no kakuni (braised pork belly)
- Miso dengaku
Why it worksThe wine's herbal, spice-toned character and firm acidity meet the sweet-savory depth of tare and miso glazes, with the acidity keeping richness in balance.
Thai
- Moo yang (grilled pork)
- Sai ua (Northern Thai herbed sausage)
- Massaman curry (mild)
Why it worksThai herbs and spice resonate with the wine's own garrigue-toned aromatics, while its clean acidity offsets the richness of grilled and slow-cooked meats.
Western
- Southern French grilled meats
- Ratatouille
- Hard cheese
Why it worksDrawn from the same Mediterranean table, these dishes share the wine's regional register, with acidity balancing fat and richness naturally.
