CLOS REGAINLait de Vigne Blanc Sec
The name Lait de Vigne — 'the vine's milk' — pays tribute to a vineyard worker named Antoine, for whom wine was once part of daily sustenance. This dry white carries that quiet, working heritage from the vineyards of Jurançon, in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

The Story Behind the Name
Clos Regain is the boutique label within Château Jolys, an estate in Gan, at the foot of the Pyrenees in Jurançon; Quebec entrepreneur Michel Boutin acquired a majority (75%) stake in the estate in 2019.
The 'Lait de Vigne' name honors a vineyard worker named Antoine, for whom wine was once as essential as nourishment itself — an idea the range keeps alive today.

At the table
Lait de Vigne Blanc Sec fits naturally into the kind of casual, produce-driven table it comes from — light bites, seafood and salads that let a crisp dry white play a supporting role.
Across Japanese, Thai and Western tables, the wine works best alongside dishes that share its light, unforced character rather than competing with bold or heavily sauced preparations.
Japanese
- Sashimi of white-fleshed fish
- Assorted light tempura
- Chilled tofu with edamame
Why it worksThese delicate, lightly seasoned Japanese dishes call for an easy dry white that stays in the background rather than dominating the plate.
Thai
- Som tam (green papaya salad)
- Steamed sea bass with lime and chili
- Thai seafood salad (yum talay)
Why it worksThai dishes built on herbs, lime and light heat pair naturally with a straightforward dry white that can refresh the palate between bites.
Western
- Charcuterie and cheese board
- Pan-seared white fish
- Garden salad with vinaigrette
Why it worksAs an aperitif-style white, it suits a casual Western table of light starters and simply prepared fish or salads.
