Kato Kichibee Brewery’s Triumph at TEXSOM Awards 2024
EXSOM Awards 2024, America’s leading wine competition, was held again this year in Irving, Texas! At this event, experts evaluate high quality wines, sake, and other spirits from around the world. Among the winners, the Bon series from Kato Kichibee Brewery, a long-established sake brewery in Fukui, achieved brilliant results, especially the “BORN Junmai-Daiginjo Non-filter Nama-Genshu“, which won the highest award in the sake category.”BORN Gokuhizo” and “BORN Gold” also won gold medals, and their high quality was recognized again internationally.
Born’s pure rice sake is made without additives and is polished to the limit. The ice temperature aging process creates a distinctive smooth mouthfeel and rich aroma. Born sake is highly regarded both at home and abroad for its quality, such as being chosen as the Grand Prix of Emperor Showa and as a toast at state banquets, and has completed trademark registration in over 100 countries and has been exported to over 40 countries.
