Park Seo-jun’s 26 Twenty-Six Expands into General Distribution in Japan

26 Twenty-Six, a craft blended whisky project by 1216 Co., Ltd., has expanded into general distribution in Japan. The move was reported by PR EDGE on August 27, 2026. According to the report, wider distribution began on August 3 through department stores, hotels, bars, restaurants and liquor retailers.
From a Limited Release to Wider Distribution
The whisky was first released in Japan in December 2024 as a limited run of 10,000 bottles. The initial release was distributed through a restricted set of channels, including the project’s online shop. The latest expansion changes the availability of the same project without changing its origin as a limited launch.
A Joint Venture and a Distillery in Miyazaki
1216 Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by STARBASE and actor Park Seo-jun. The brand name refers to the age of 26, which Park identifies as an important point in his career, and its logo uses his handwritten lettering.
Production is handled by Osuzu Mountain Distillery in Miyazaki Prefecture, established as a separate distillery of Kuroki Honten. PR EDGE describes 26 Twenty-Six as a Japanese blended whisky that combines malt whisky with shochu.
Distribution Context
The expansion places the project in a broader range of on-trade and retail settings across Japan. It also brings together two parts of its background: a brand developed through the 1216 joint venture and the production work of Osuzu Mountain Distillery.
