The finesse of the nose alone is somewhat overwhelming. Floral notes of black fruits.
Taste
A transcendent finesse and ability to be both powerful and featherweight. Full of energy, the palate is fabulously silky, the quality of the tannins impresses.
Pairing
Classic pairings: red meat, game, duck, mushroom dishes and firm cheeses; very soft cheeses can clash with the wine’s structure. Japanese cuisine: wagyu steak, sukiyaki, kamo rosu, beef shigureni and grilled mushrooms. Thai cuisine: massaman nua, nua yang, slow-braised beef and mild panang-style meat dishes; avoid aggressive chili.
