SHOCHU REPUBLIC

This republic has no borders. It possesses four voices and a single door.
For two years, a trading company carried one question: How do you offer the first glass to someone who has never known Shochu? They knew that words alone cannot melt walls. Only the surprise of the tongue can open the gate.
SHOCHU REPUBLIC. Four Kyushu distilleries united their strongest notes to create a single harmony.
From Fukuoka, Benotome Shuzo whispers with barley. A smooth, silk-like spirit carrying the sweet scent of banana and cotton candy. On the label, a Japanese Hare dressed in Kurume Kasuri invites you in.
From Kumamoto, Toyonaga Shuzo brings a spark. Organic rice shochu fused with Indian Long Pepper creates a vivid spice. Mixed with soda, it pops like craft cola. A Crane spreads its wings over the bottle.
From Kagoshima, Hamada Shuzo offers green silence. A gentle 8% blend of barley shochu and Japanese Matcha. It is drinkable meditation. In the quiet night, a Calico Cat stands guard under a small umbrella.
And from the southern tip of Satsuma, Uto Shuzo delivers the cheer of the sun. Using Beni Haruka sweet potatoes, they draw out a noble aroma of muscat grapes and rum raisin. The protected Akahige (Ryukyu Robin) flies in with southern light on its wings.
Four flavors. Four animals. Memories of four lands. Yet, on the shelf, they become one Republic. You can enter from anywhere. Start with any glass. There is no single right answer—only freedom.
This is likely your first encounter with a spirit soon to become a friend. A door that most of the world has yet to open awaits.
