An intense ruby colour with purple reflections which announces concentration and depth.
Fragrance
A complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as black cherry and raspberry, blended with delicate floral notes of violet and subtle spices of black pepper.
Taste
On the palate, the power of Pinot Noir is fully expressed. Velvety tannins support deep flavours of black fruit, liquorice and undergrowth. The lively acidity brings a well-balanced freshness.
Pairing
7-hour leg of beef or mutton, guinea fowl with mushrooms, grilled chicken, cheese.
Vinification
18 months in oak barrels
– 1/3 new barrels, 2/3 neutral barrels -, adds complexity and power. This ratio new barrels/old barrels is a testimony of the know-how and knowledge of the estate.
