The Global Tour of Shichiken and Alain Ducasse

The historic moment eagerly awaited by epicureans around the world is finally becoming a reality. Starting from October 22, a dream collaboration between Yamanashi Meijo “Shichiken,” boasting 270 years of history, and the world-renowned French master chef Alain Ducasse began in seven cities worldwide, and it was held in Bangkok on October 26. This special dinner, with the refreshing taste of “Shichiken” nurtured by the pure famous water of Hakushu and the exquisite French cuisine crafted by Mr. Ducasse, weaves an ultimate harmony that is truly a work of art. Furthermore, the innovative masterpieces “Sparkling Sake” and “Sustainable Spirits,” born from the collaboration of both, will also grace this special evening.

The collaboration with Inden-ya, founded in 1582, is also noteworthy. A specially crafted menu cover. The beautiful design, inspired by the waves of the Mediterranean and the clear streams of Hakushu, is a masterpiece that harmoniously blends Japanese traditional craftsmanship with modern esprit.

This project embodies a grand vision of showcasing the new possibilities of sake to the world. Mr. Alain Ducasse said, “Yamanashi is one of the regions closest to my heart,” and President Kitahara Tsushima expressed his determination to “elevate sake to a new stage.” This event, born from the passion of both parties, will truly be a moment to remember. The opportunity to experience this miraculous chance to meet is only available for one night in each city. Starting in Tokyo, the tour will travel to Bangkok, Paris, London, Singapore, and other gastronomic destinations around the world. (Mr.Bacchus)
