JAPANESE SAKE VERMOUTH is a sake-based liqueur, a unique drink that combines traditional European vermouth with Japanese characteristics. The use of unique Japanese ingredients such as Yomogi and Yuzu gives it a Japanese flavor and a refreshing aroma that sets it apart from traditional vermouth. This liqueur can also be used as an ingredient in cocktails and can be enjoyed on the rocks or directly with soda.
On the other hand, Tsutsumi Shuzo (distillery) that produces JAPANESE SAKE VERMOUTH, specializes in the production of Kuma shochu, which has a history of over 500 years. Designated by the WTO as a Kuma shochu production area, the distillery uses water from the Kuma River and local rice to produce high-quality shochu.
While preserving traditional production methods, the distillery also focuses on developing liqueurs and other products that incorporate new concepts, such as a yuzu liqueur made with domestically produced yuzu, which has a unique flavor.
Tsutsumi Shuzo’s shochu is often produced in limited quantities, with each barrel having a different color, aroma, and flavor. founded in 1878, the company is still based in Kuma-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, and continues to offer products that combine tradition and innovation. JAPANESE SAKE VERMOUTH is the result of such Tsutsumi Shuzo’s philosophy and technology. (Mr.Bacchus)
