The nose is powerful, with a bouquet of ripe fruit, cherries & prunes. It will take on spicier notes with age.
Taste
On the palate, we are struck by the power of the sensations and the fullness of the flesh. More massive than fine, the Côtes- de-Nuits stands on its own and offers a different approach to Pinot Bourguignon.
Pairing
Charcuterie, grilled red meat, poultry in white sauce, pizza, pasta and tomato-based tarts.
Vinification
Destemmed.
Aged in barrels (30% new) ripenesses but small yields.
