Ishikawa, Sogen Brewery

SOGEN Sake Brewery is the oldest sake brewery in Okunoto, founded in 1768, and has the roots of Yoshiharu Hatakeyama during the Warring States period. It is a traditional warehouse where NOTO, the one of the four Japanese best TOUJI (chief of sake brewers) groups is originated. Sake of SOGEN, which is brewed with carefully selected water and rice, by traditional techniques and skilled technology, has a slightly sweet, soft and mellow taste. Daiginjo Sogen, which has been awarded the highest gold prize, is also used in ANA International First Class. In addition, it is highly evaluated as art of taste created by NOTO, which has a fresh and clear taste. It is aged in the tunnel storage for the 1st time in Hokuriku region – bordered on the north by the Sea of Japan.
